Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond with an approximate weight of 1.20 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked by six round old single cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.26 carats, to a flank solitaire design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to elegant gently sloping shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1910.
