Sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.30 carat, further set with fourteen round old cut diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.40 carat, to an elegant cluster design featuring scalloped millegrain edging, a decorative gallery with intricate piercing and fancy shape open backholing, leading to inwardly tapering shoulders and flowing through to a solid shank. Tested platinum, circa 1920, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5785-1851.
