Victorian peridot and diamond pendant, circa 1890

Victorian peridot and diamond pendant. Set with a central drop shape mixed old cut natural unenhanced peridot in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 9.75 carats, suspended from a cluster of nine cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.23 carats, further adorned by three round rose cut diamonds in open back grain settings, with a combined weight of 0.03 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.26 carats to an ornate drop pendant flowing with movement, featuring curving claws and fancy shape open back holing, fitted to the reverse with two bales threaded with a yellow gold ferragamo link chain, approximately 16" in length with secure push clasp. Pendant tested yellow gold and silver, chain marked 15 carat yellow gold, circa 1890.
