Colombian emerald and diamond pendant. Set to centre with a drop shape old cut natural Colombian emerald with moderate oil in an open back cut-down setting with an approximate weight of 1.70 carats, further set with twenty-two rose cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.20 carats, and set to top with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back rubover setting with a weight of 0.40 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.60 carats, to an elegant articulated drop pendant featuring polished edges and fancy shape open backholing, fitted to top with a fine trace chain, pendant approximately 3.7cm in length, chain approximately 16" in length. Tested yellow gold with silver settings, circa 1880, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5786-1529.
