Yellow Ceylon sapphire and diamond coronet cluster. Set to center with one natural no-heat oval mixed cut yellow Ceylon sapphire in open back claw settings with an approximate weight of 6.09 carats, encircled by fourteen cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.65 carats. To an elegant coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery with engraving and circular open backholing, flanked by inwardly tapering shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shaped shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1900, accompanied by Gemmological Certificate Services (GCS) 5786-2246.
