Accounting for approximately 78% of Earth’s atmosphere, nitrogen is the sixth most abundant element in the universe and plays a fundamental role in the formation of yellow diamonds. Yet, only when present in sufficient concentrations does nitrogen impart the captivating yellow hue for which these diamonds are so admired.
Historically, colourless diamonds were prized above all others, making the presence of naturally yellow diamonds in antique jewellery exceptionally uncommon.
Featuring not one, but four yellow diamonds, this ring is a true rarity, distinguished as much by its unusual design, as by the scarcity of the stones themselves.
