The acanthus motif, inspired by the classical ornamentation of ancient Greek and Roman architecture, became especially popular during the Victorian era, when historic revival styles were widely embraced. During this period, the 'language of flowers' was highly fashionable, and the acanthus was associated with enduring life, strength, and lasting love.

The delicately sculpted leaves lend the ring a refined Victorian elegance while carrying a subtle romantic meaning.
