Set to centre with a shape no heat sapphire in setting with an approximate weight of 0.65 , encircled by twelve cushion shape old mine in open back and grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.36 carats, further flanked by four cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.12 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.48 carats to an elegant coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced and fancy open backholing, the smooth flow through to a solid . 18 carat yellow , 'L&L' for Lawrence & Lingard, full hallmarks for Birmingham, English, 1903.

Lawrence & Lingard was the trading name of Edward and Joseph William Lingard, manufacturing silversmiths and jewellers based at Tenby Street North, Birmingham, in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter.
Active during the late Victorian and Edwardian periods, they produced gold and silver jewellery and registered the maker's mark "L & L" with the Birmingham Assay Office. Like many Jewellery Quarter firms of the time, they operated primarily as manufacturers, supplying jewellery to the wider trade rather than selling directly to the public.
