Sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.60 carats, adorned by eleven round rose cut diamonds in closed back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.22 carats, to a striking coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, an ornate open gallery and stylised shoulders flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked yellow gold, french import mark, circa 1890.
