This ring is in good condition commensurate with its age.
Crafted predominantly from gold and silver, early jewels typically feature closed back and cut-down settings and many pieces were routinely remounted to keep abreast of current fashions. Due to this, few pieces from this era remain in circulation, and even fewer remain in very good condition. Today, pieces like this one are highly sought after amongst collectors of true rarities.
