Georgian diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond in a closed back grain setting with an approximate weight of 0.80 carats, further set with eleven cushion shape old mine diamonds in closed back cut-down settings with a combined weight of 0.55 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.35 carats to an elegant cluster design featuring scalloped edging, a ridged gallery and closed gadrooned back, leading to split shoulders which flow through to a solid shank. Tested yellow gold, settings tested silver, circa 1830.
