Set to centre with a round diamond in an setting with an approximate weight of 0.30 , encircled by eight round transitional cut in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.32 carats, flanked further by six round diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.68 carats, to an elegant design featuring scalloped borders and polished edges, supported by an intricately pierced featuring details and fancy backholing, leading to slightly trumpeting which feature a decorative design, continuing to a solid . 18 carat , settings , 'X646', 'A.W.C & S. Chairman's Notes

'A.W.C & S.Ltd' for Arthur Walter Crosbee & Sons Ltd, was founded in 1902 by A. W. Crosbee and initially traded under the name A.W. Crosbee & Co. The firm was renamed to, 'A.W. C & Sons Ltd.' sometime between 1911 and 1926. They were located on 7 Vyse Street Birmingham and continued to trade there until the late 1940s when they closed down. A newspaper advertisment from 1949 shows a selection of rings made by the company in a similar style.
