Burmese ruby and diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural no heat Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with a weight of 2.30 carats, further set with two cushion shape old mine diamonds, with a combined approximate weight of 2.54 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked further in each shoulder with eight round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings, with a combined weight of 0.08 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.62 carats to an impressive three stone design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery, and fancy shape open backholing flanked by inwardly tapering shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1920, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5786-3123.
