Burmese ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old cut natural no heat Burmese ruby with an approximate weight of 0.65 carats in an open back claw setting, encircled by eight cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.65 carats, further flanked by four cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain settings with an combined weight of 0.10 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.75 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, a decorative gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to smoothly conforming shoulders and flowing through to a solid flat shank. Marked 14 carat yellow gold, assay mark for Vienna, Austro-Hungarian, circa 1905, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5785-0293.
