Masriera is a celebrated Barcelona jewellery house with a remarkable heritage stretching back to the nineteenth century. The house reached its artistic height under Lluís Masriera, whose distinctive Art Nouveau creations drew inspiration from the natural world, mythology and the female form. His jewellery is especially admired for its exquisite enamel work, including the technically demanding plique-à-jour technique, which gives the pieces their characteristic luminous, stained-glass quality. With an extensive archive of Lluís Masriera’s original drawings still informing the house today, each creation carries a strong sense of continuity with the artistry and craftsmanship that established the Masriera name.
