Art Deco diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.85 carats, flanked by two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.05 carats and further decorated with two triangular cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.10 carats, to a geometric graduating design featuring curving claws and polished edges, a decorative gallery with scrolling motifs and fancy shape open backholing, leading to raised shoulders with cheniers and flowing through to a solid square shank. Marked platinum, indistinctly numbered, marked 'S', circa 1930.
