Burmese ruby and diamond crossover ring. Set centrally with a single oval old cut natural no heat Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.00 carats, diagonally flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.60 carats, further adorned with ten round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.40 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.00 carats, to an elegant crossover design featuring millegrain edging, intricate pierced claws and open backholing, leading to trumpeting shoulders and flowing down to a solid tapered D-shape shank. Tested rose gold and platinum, circa 1905, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5775-1946.
