Set with a cushion shape old cut natural no heat Ceylon sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.20 carats, to a gypsy ring design featuring polished edges and open backholing, leading to tapering shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, maker's mark 'A&B', full hallmarks for Chester, English, 1907, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5785-0279.
