 Description

Sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a round old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back grain setting with an approximate weight of 0.65 carats, surrounded by eleven round eight cut diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.40 carats, to a coronet cluster design featuring millegrain edging, a pierced scalloped gallery and open backholing, leading to smooth shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, numbered '31461', circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5783-3337.
