A matching pair, each set to centre with an oval cabochon cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover setting, two in total with an approximate combined weight of 4.85 carats, further set with ten round old mine cut diamonds in open back claw settings, twenty in total with a combined weight of 4.60 carats, all suspended from one cushion shape old mine cut diamond in an open back rubover setting, two in total with a combined weight of 0.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 4.80 carats, to an impressive pair of coronet cluster earrings, featuring elegant curving claws and millegrain edging, intricately pierced galleries and open backholing, fitted with a a secure hook and clip fastening, approximately 2.5cm in length. Tested yellow gold, stamped '0899', maker's mark 'CB', circa 1900, accompanied by antique box.
