Edwardiansapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with an oval old cutnatural unenhanced sapphire in an open backrubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.80 carats, encircled by ten round old cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.70 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design with millegrain edges, a pierced geometric gallery and open backholing, flanked by flat trumpeting shoulders flowing down to a solid D-shapeshank. Testedplatinum and iridium, maker's mark, 'R. Klitz', inscribed 'M.M.H-F.L.H 1896-1916', American, circa 1915, accompanied by a Gemmological Certification Services report #79186-60.
