 Description

Ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set centrally with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced ruby in an open back claw setting with an weight of 0.57 carats, further set with twelve cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.00 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid chamfered shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910.
