This coming Monday the 20th November 2017 marks a 70-year milestone in the lives of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. Married in 1947 in a post war Britain, the nation was transfixed on the new Royal couple who would break traditions and marry for love. Princess Elizabeth and her beloved Philip wed with all the splendour and dazzle expected of a Royal celebration. After the ceremony the young bride and groom beamed with joy as they greeted the elated crowds gathered outside Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace, beginning their lives together on the world stage.
