Old mine diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.75 carats, flanked by eight round rose cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.95 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire design featuring millegrain edging, an open gallery with chenier details and fancy open backholing, the raised shoulders flowing through to a solid flat shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1915.
