 Description

Post Medieval gold decorated 'Content is a continuall tresure' posy ring. A lightly rounded conforming band, engraved to the interior in italic script with 'Content is a continuall tresure', further engraved to the exterior with light decorative scrolling pattern with an approximate width of 3.5mm. Tested yellow gold, approximately 2.83 grams in weight, English, circa 17th - 18th century AD, accompanied by documentation with reference #2013T493.

Found in Shipham, Somerset, UK.
