 Description

Georgian diamond converted button ring. Set to centre with one cushion shape old mine cut diamond in a closed back grain setting with a weight of 0.50 carats, surrounded by fourteen cushion shape table cut diamonds in closed back grain and cutdown settings with a combined weight of 1.00 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.50 carats, to a Georgian silver and diamond set button cluster, proceeding to a later gold band with ribbed trumpeting shoulders and a smoothly formed solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold with silver settings, maker's mark 'HHN', full Swedish hallmarks, circa 1944.
