 Description

Old mine diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond, F colour, SI1 clarity, with an approximate weight of 1.00 carats, in an open back claw setting, further adorned with six round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.06 carats, to an elegant solitaire featuring curving claws, millegrain edging, an intricately pierced gallery and circular open backholing, leading to slightly raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1905, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #2166071591.
