Art Deco diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond, J colour, VS2 clarity, with a weight of 1.34 carats, in an open back claw setting, flanked by four rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.15 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.49 carats, to an impressive flanked solitaire design featuring curving claws and polished edges, a pierced gallery and open geometric backholing, leading to raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1920, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #6224373760.
