Edwardian diamond solitaire engagement ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond, K colour, VS2 clarity with an approximate weight of 0.99 carats in an open back claw setting, to an elegant solitaire design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and circular open backholing, the raised trumpeting shoulders flow through to a solid ridged D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1905, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #5202642505.
