Art Deco diamond ring. Set to centre with a single round old cut diamond, D colour, VS2 clarity with an approximate weight of 1.59 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked by four round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.28 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.87 carats, to a flanked solitaire design with structural lines featuring grooved claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, leading to raised shoulders with chenier detail and flowing through to a solid shank. Tested platinum, circa 1925, accompanied by Gemmological Institute of America report #6204162029.
