 Description

Colombian emerald and diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with an octagonal emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with minor clarity enhancement in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.72 carats, flanked by two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.50 carats, to an elegant three stone design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery with chenier details and fancy open backholing, the tapering shoulders flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 yellow carat gold and platinum, circa 1915, accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report #24399.
