Edwardian sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with an oval old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.30 carats, surrounded by ten cushion-shape old mine diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.00 carats, to an impressive coronet cluster with millegrain edging, a decoratively pierced gallery and open backholing, the inwardly tapering shoulders flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, numbered '33', circa 1915, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5783-863.
