 Description

Art Deco Ceylon sapphire and diamond ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Ceylon sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 5.45 carats, flanked by eight round eight-cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.16 carats, to a geometric flanked solitaire design featuring curving split claws, an openwork gallery, and intricate square backholing, leading to raised shoulders, and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1935, accompanied by SSEF report #131309.
