 Description

Art Deco diamond solitaire ring. Set with a single round old cut diamond, I colour, SI1 clarity, with an approximate weight of 1.39 carats in an open back grain and rubover setting, to a linear solitaire design featuring a square collet, a geometrically pierced gallery and open square backholing, leading to stepped shoulders and flowing through to a smooth D-shape shank. Tested 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1935, accompanied by Gemmological Institute of America (GIA) report #5202325943.
