Georgian ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural ruby in a closed back grain setting with an approximate weight of 0.50 carats, encircled by a single row of eight rose cut diamonds in closed back cut-down settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.00 carats, to an impressive coronet cluster design, flanked by broad shoulders which flow through to a solid flat shank. Tested yellow gold with silver settings, English, circa 18th century.
