 Description

Antique ruby and diamond carved ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape step cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.90 carats, flanked by two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.90 carats, to an ornate three stone design with stylised claws, finely carved open gallery and intricately pierced backholing, the trumpeting shoulders include decorative carvings with openwork details which lead to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, English, circa 1890, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5777-9517.
