Set to centre with a cushion shape mixed cut natural unenhanced yellow Ceylon sapphire in an open back half rubover setting with an approximate weight of 5.50 carats, further adorned with sixty six round brilliant cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 2.00 carats, to a stylised open curving design with polished edges and fancy backholing, the integrated raised shoulders tapering down to a solid heavy D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, signed 'Poiray', numbered '32577', circa 1980, accompanied by The Gem and Pearl Laboratory report #16182.
