Burmese ruby and diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.40 carats, bordered by ten round brilliant cut diamonds in open back claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.00 carats, to a structural cluster design with curving claws, a finely pierced geometric gallery and oval open backholing, flanked by split raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested white gold, circa 1970, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5782-1795.
