Vintage emerald-cut diamond coronet cluster ring. Vertically set with a rectangular emerald-cut diamond, J colour, SI2 clarity, in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.22 carats, encircled by a single row of twelve round brilliant cut diamonds in open back grain and claw settings with a combined weight of 1.60 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.82 carats, to an attractive cluster design featuring curving corner claws, a structured openwork gallery and intricate open backholing, flanked by tapered trumpeting split shoulders which lead smoothly through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat white gold, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5775-1555.
