Vintage emerald-cut diamond coronet cluster ring. Vertically set with a rectangular emerald-cut diamond, J colour, SI2 clarity, in an open back corner claw setting with a weight of 2.22 carats, encircled by a single row of twelve round brilliant cut diamonds in open back grain and claw settings with a combined weight of 1.60 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.82 carats, to an attractive cluster with pierced curving claws, structured openwork gallery and intricate backholing, flanked by tapering gently sloping shoulders which lead smoothly through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat white gold, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5775-1555.
