A matching pair, set with six square step-cut natural emeralds in open back claw settings, twelve in total with a combined approximate weight of 1.20 carats, further set with nineteen round eight-cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings, thirty-eight in total with a combined approximate weight of 1.16 carats, set to top with three rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings, six in total, with a combined weight of 0.12 carats, and decorated with three round transitional cut diamonds in open back rubover settings, six in total with a combined weight of 0.12 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.40 carats, to an ornate pair of earrings, featuring polished edges and open backholing, fitted to reverse with a secure post and hinge-clip, approximately 2.3cm in length. Earrings tested yellow gold and platinum, fittings tested white gold, circa 1950.
