Vintage diamond solitaire ring. Set to centre with a round transitional cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.60 carats, to an elegant solitaire design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced openwork gallery and circular open backholing, flanked by inwardly tapering raised shoulders with chenier detail, leading through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1950.
