Vintage diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with a single round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting, G colour, SI1 clarity, with an approximate weight of 1.62 carats, encircled by ten rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back half rubover settings with a combined weight of 1.00 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.62 carats, to a coronet cluster design, featuring linear lines, a curving pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to inwardly tapering shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemmological Institute of America (GIA) report #2201048842.
