Vintage Tiffany & Co. diamond ballerina ring. Set centrally with an oval brilliant cut diamond, F colour, VS1 clarity, with an approximate weight of 0.61 carats, in an open back claw setting, encircled by an undulating row of twenty channel set tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 3.00 carats, further set to shoulders with twelve round brilliant cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.28 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.89 carats, to an attractive ballerina cluster design, featuring curving corner claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by split trumpeting shoulders and flowing down to a solid ridged flat shank. Marked platinum and iridium, maker's mark 'TIFFANY & CO.', American, circa 1970. Accompanied by Gemological Institute of America report #2175019535.
