Set to centre with a rectangular baguette cut diamond in an open back claw setting with a weight of 1.00 carats, flanked by six rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back claw and rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.60 carats, further adorned by eight marquise shape brilliant cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 0.56 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.16 carats, to an impressive ballerina cluster with curving claws, a structured pierced gallery and open backholing, the raised tri-split shoulders flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, French, circa 1940.
