Set to centre with an oval cabochon natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 4.56 carats, to a bombé design with a smooth polished raised border and open backholing, the integrated tapering shoulders flowing to a solid shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, signed 'Monture Cartier', makers mark for Cartier, numbered 'HGS3', engraved 'Cts 4.56', English, circa 1970, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #79206-68.
