Viking gold plaited ring. The yellow gold ring composed of intricately plaited rounded gold wires, graduating to center, the ends drawn out to solid tapering rods with a twisted closure at reverse. Tested yellow gold, approximately 11g in weight, circa 9th-11th century. This ring is a substantial solid ring, in fine condition with beautiful patina, accompanied by an Oxford Labs X-ray fluorescence report stating the composition of the metal.
