Victorian seven stone ruby ring. Set horizontally with seven cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced rubies in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 3.50 carats, to an ornate seven stone carved ring featuring an open decorative gallery with stylised claws and fine backholing, the trumpeting shoulders are adorned with ribbed engraving before curving to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1900.
