Victorian Ceylon sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Centrally set with an oval old cut natural unenhanced Ceylon sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 3.80 carats, encircled by a single row of eleven round old cut diamonds in open back claw and half rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.40 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design with curving claws, intricately pierced open gallery and circular open backholing, flanked by split scrolling shoulders which flows to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, English, circa 1900, accompanied by a Gemmological Certification Services report #79234-48.
