Set with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.95 carats, to a solitaire design featuring curving claws, polished edges, an intricately carved gallery with scalloped detail and open backholing, the trumpeting integrated shoulders flowing to a solid shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, indistinct maker's mark, circa 1890.
