Victorian drop shape diamond cluster ring. Set with a drop shape old cut diamond in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.30 carats, bordered by fourteen cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back cutdown settings with a combined weight of 0.50 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.80 carats, to an impressive drop shape coronet cluster design, featuring polished edges, a gadrooned gallery and open backholing, flanked by ornate openwork shoulders which continue down to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold with silver settings, English, circa 1880.
